IPC Party with €5000 Guaranteed Friday January 8th in The Eglinton Casino

    On Friday the 8th we are having an IPC Party in the Eglinton filled with food, drink and final tablists.

    Both Padraig Parkinson and Paul Marrow, the IPC's 1st and 2nd place finishers, will be in attendance along with Cat O'Neill, Big Mick G and Vinnie Cosgrove, who also made this years IPC final table, IPC side event winner Dara O'Kearney and a host of other familiar faces.

    The Tournament on Friday is a €250 Freezeout and starts at 8pm and it has €5000 guaranteed. This is a 2 day event and will restart on Saturday at 3pm.

    There will be a €100 Freezeout on Saturday evening starting at 8pm.

    So get yourself down to Galway for the weekend and lets Party.

    The €250 Freezeout
    1. Who is running the event: The Eglinton Casino
    2. The purpose of the event: Commercial
    3. Date and Location of event: Eglinton Casino Galway,Friday/Saturday January 8th/9th
    4. Registration and Start time of event:Reg from 7:30pm, starts @ 8pm. Day 2 starts at 3pm
    5. Any prerequisites: must be a member. Bring valid passport/license on the day
    6. How can tickets be purchased & is there a maximum number: can be bought at the front desk. Max 110
    7. Type of Tournament: NLHE Freezeout
    8. Cost of entry and any subsequent rebuys/top-ups etc: €225
    9. Cost of registration: €25
    10. % of entry fee/rebuys/top-up going into Prize fund: 100%
    10a. Is any money from the prize fund held back for future tournaments, if so, how much: no
    11. Any guaranteed prize pool: €5000 guaranteed
    12. If applicable, Number of re-buys allowed and over what time frame/blind levels:N/A
    13. Starting Chips: 15000
    14. Rebuy and Top-up chip amounts: N/A
    15. Blind levels: all levels antes included
    16. Blind timeframes: 30mins
    17. Places being paid and if any prizes are other than cash: minimum of 10% of the field paid

    WOW a great wk end in galway with the Brucepoker league final on aswell as this .

    Hi Ian
    I was talking to some of the guys that are playing in the 10 handed table for the sponsorship deal with BP , they want to play the €250 2 day event on the friday so we will start day 2 @ 5/5.30 pm on the Saturday

    IS the €250 FO starting at 8 or 9 tonight? its 8 on the website but one of the dealers announced it was at 9 at a tournament during the week

    Looks great!!!!Wont make it:(but would like to take my hat off to ye all in the eglington,dave,fintan etc for leading the way imo of good will,genorosity and down right comaditry(sorry about the spelling there:eek:) and encouragement.If only we could all take a leaf out of such a positive book.Good luck with the party and tourney!

    All very standard: Dave Curtis first out, Paul Marrow knocked the first five people out and was still sixth out, I got sucked out on on the second last table by an ace rag merchant, Rob Taylor bubbled, Parky stayed in the bar and decided not to bother with this poker mullarkey, and Cat O'Neill chopped.
