Any fellow runners out there ever experienced jock itch. Told by my GP to use lamisil and boil all my under wear. Still having real difficulty shifting it. Any tips suggestions?

Your GP should have recommended something stronter than lamisil. You could have got that yourself at the chemist without a visit to the GP. And the GP fee!
Caneston HC cream (not the ordinary Caneston) is what mine recommended when I had this problem. It has a steroid component in it that the normal stuff and Lamisil does not. Cleared it up within a week. Fairly unpleasant thing to get but almost everyone gets it at some time.

Dap the area with vinegar and wear looser underwear.
