hi, not sure if this is allowed on here (mods please delete if not )

An ifor williams trainer was stolen few days ago from Ballincollig area in Cork - 12ft * 6ft 6" double axle .. Has anybody else experienced this type of theft and any luck tracking down the culprits?

A neighbour had one stolen (Clare area). Tracked it down to travellers in Cork. Helped that he had a nephew a Guard.:D
All the Ifor Williams have a serial plate. It is worth taking a picture of this when you buy one. I guess they'll take it off anyway, but not for the first few hours.

a travelling tool salesman came into my yard once and tryed to sell me some of his quality chinese tools .
i told him i wasnt interested and he started looking over at my ifor williams cattle trailer.
he asked do you know anyone with any old trailers or horseboxes for sale but i know what he was thinking.
after that i keep it locked in the shed because even if you lock the hitch they can get it.
i know a guy who used to paint the top half of the front of the trailer green to make it stand out a bit which would deter thiefs.
sorry to hear about your trailer i hope you can get it back.

this one has a few unique features so it would stand out alright, if only we knew where to look

I was going to suggest that you list a few of the features OP (on the extreme offchance that a boards reader might come accross it for sale somewhere) but second thoughts that might not be a good idea, dont know? Maybe just list one or two of the features.
As a matter of interest was it attached to a vehicle or parked in a yard when stolen?
