We shot a sika hind i wicklow last week and its lungs were absolutly rotten with tb . It was so bad that the lungs were stuck to the side wall of the ribs.I was suprised that it was still able to walk around as the lungs were 3/4 full of calcified pusy white lumps. Surprisingly the aniaml was is good condition , has good body weight, and had a calf at foot. I cant remember if she was in calf as we did not touch her again after seeing the lungs.
The picture of the lungs was down loaded from the internet and were not as bad as the lungs in the deer that was shot.

Hey welsummer, was it shot on low land area?probably not a bad idea to report TB finds to NPWS,probably too late here but they do test and check up
