Europe Train Timetables

Hello.
Just wondering, where do people find their train timetables online, or do you just wait until you get to Europe? I'm trying to plan a few trips and can't find any decent website. I would like to know prices as well but even times would be good.
Is Thomas Cook only available in book form?

Any suggestions would be great. I've looked at Seat61 but it's all about getting to London and back.

im pretty sure thats only for trains either departing to or leaving from The Netherlands.

Would definitely recommend the Thomas Cook book, it's fairly small to leave in your bag and quite handy for planning your next train journey when you might not have internet access.

As for prices in my experience individual tickets are pricy but if any of the interrailing tickets suit your trip there cheap as you can get.

Yes, I know people always say about Seat 61, but it doesn't really do what I need. I need timetables, not the quickest route from London to where ever, as I have to avoid some countries because of passport issues.
