Felt QX 65

Lads, I had my day bike stolen a couple of weeks ago (Dawes 401 slightly customised to take on board Shimano pedals and Schwalbe tyres) so I now need to replace it. I like the heavy frame for commuting - do about 30km per day - as it's good exercise for my road cycling at the weekends.

Anyway, I saw a Felt QX65 in town today for €499.00. Has anyone got any opinions on this particular model? As most of you know, Felt make lovely road bikes but I'm a bit undecided about this particular one.

I had also considered the Dawes 501 or the Giant CRS range.

    Thanks in advance!

    Hi,
I've recently upgraded from a Giant CRS 3 to a Felt Z100 roadbike and the Felt is very nice. I'm not familiar with the model you referred to but if its as nice as the roadbike then it'd be fine.
Also i loved my CRS 3 (only upgraded to take advantage of the bike to work scheme TBH), can't really go wrong with Giant IMHO.
    Just my tuppence worth.........:)
