I wouldn't be surprised if they put Dunnes in there.

all is left to move is the travel agents and quinn computers everything else is after moving there lease's weren't renewed i think the 3 business on ground floor of high street will remain open tsb bank, shoe shop and jeweller's
there going to remove the 13 or 14 shops and old restaurant and it will be one large department store, be nice to see some nice department store like bt2 that will bring people into the city and not just a shaw's or debinham's we kinda have these shops in goods, pauls and winstons.
sister was just saying she think's its the same group of developers that wanted to build city mart shopping centre that own this place also, maybe they'l bring mark's and spencer's clothing section with bit of luck

There's an outdoor / hillwalking type shop upstairs in that shopping acrade as well.

They should use the space at the front of the upstairs with all the windows looking out onto high street to open a nice 1970's style café with mismatching cutlery and furniture and faux wooden panelling, hairy green carpets and linoleum.

Cups of Maxwell House for a pound and a nice pink snack after your chips and runny eggs. Lovely.

You can never have too many Dunnes in one place.

They're not part of the mall so they won't be moving.

The hillwalking shop is STILL in the Arcade, regardless of whether or not you want to be.

I heard the new Courthouse is going to be a Dunnes and that Winston's is just Dunnes in disguise and that Supermacs was actually torched by Dunnes so they could get right into the middle of High Street.

What's not known yet is if St Mary's Church is being given to Dunnes by the Borough Council. Chances are, it will be.

It'll be renamed St. Bernard's Church.
