    Well it would more than likely be classed as a type of pig and therefore you would need a Dep of Agri heard number to buy or have one on your property,someone else may be able to give more detailed info

    A pig is a pig is a pig as far as the dept are concerned, yes you will need a pig number and a way of keeping them enclosed, they are not concerned what type of pigs they are as long as they aren't sick.

    You could probably get a pot bellied pig from an animal shelter, kick it around a bit to make it mean, set it loose in a field and shoot it...;)

    Wouldn't be a wild boar though!
