I spilled vodka and coke in my Powerbook during the summer. It was horrible. It has worked in the last few months but the battery drains real quickly when not plugged into charger. Does anyone have any advice how I might be able to improve it's performance for now. Im hanging on until the mac announcements sep 26th b4 I buy a new laptop

If anyone has an old or spare 17inch Powerbook battery for sale let me know. I could do with a charger aswell. Thanks

Try power cycling. But given the age, there's probably not much you can do.

Drain the battery until it goes to sleep. Then recharge. Maybe do it a couple of times.
