I think it's really ugly, but it also really annoys me. Moog go to all the trouble of making a really interesting and innovative guitar, and **** up on the easy part

Wow a tiger in the ad! Thats me sold on it!

and 3rd generation robot technology!! That has to be good, because the first two versions worked out so incredibly well!!!

read the above with as much sarcasm as you can imagine.

I actually like the look of the tiger thing but I don't like guitar being packed full technology, gibson is expensive enough for god sake :P

Apple codename all the OSX versions after big cats - Mac OSX Jaguar, Leopard, Snow Leopard, etc...

Gibson name their guitar after a big cat...

    Overwhelming similarities of websites:

    http://www2.gibson.com/Products/Electric-Guitars/Les-Paul/Gibson-USA/Dusk-Tiger/Video.aspx

    http://store.apple.com/us/product/MAC_OS_X_SNGL

    Coincidence?

According to the Gibson website, the Dusk Tiger is a killer guitar.

well they are hardly going to say it looks like **** and plays like **** are they?

they are a business, they have to use marketing to sell. if labeling it as a "killer guitar" fools one gullible fool then it's money well spent for gibson.

i like the guitar minus the pickguard tbh.

'Killer guitar' is a bit naff though.

Although, after checking the vids on the Gibson website, it has a few very handy features for tuning etc. Is the guitar world ready for such hocus pocus.
Or will we be still be using the old guitars??

well these tech guitars have been around for quite a while so i doubt anyone is gonna get rid of a natural tone guitar for that, generally of course

I once saw Joe Satrinani sport something with four necks and a body shaped like a heart.

Please tell me I wasn't imagining it...

These types of guitars in my opinion are among the ugliest.

It's hard to pick just one though. A couple of fine examples on this thread so far.

I'm jealous of his ability/dedication, but my tongue was still fairly stiffly in my cheek - he's definintely a tosser!

That particular one is quite horrible but if you mean B.C. Rich's in general then I don't agree I like them but it's down to taste of course

I know man. Personally i will be tuning myself......with the help of a floor device to keep in tune with everyone else.;)

By the way, the BC Rich Mockingbird in red with a floating trem is savage. Probably because Slash used one.
