    Anyone hear the new Live at Abbey Road Series ?

    Jeez it's gone to the dogs both sonically and visually.

    Last one I saw a couple of weeks ago they cut to the drummer .... only the cut was on the wrong beat i.e. we saw the snare but we heard the kick. Surely a schoolboy music video error ?

    Also a couple of weeks ago we had 2 different bands with the same snare sound, made all the more obvious by having the songs back to back . I'd wager a Stephen Slate one too ......

    Not what one expect from from what was the premium music show on TV.

    I saw the Temper Trap about a week or so ago on it. I thought they were good.

    I thought they were good too, yer man's a great singer.

    I think it may have been them with the 'reverse' drum thing now you mention it ...

    saw "white lies" on it a few weeks back and i thought it was amazing but i agree there has been some dodgy stuff going on at times sound wise.

    Saw the Green Day one, pretty terrible on the whole. Bad songs, bad camera, bad sound, very disappointing. The Bat for Lashes one on the same episode was slightly better but it was just a piano and some great vocals. Still terrible camera work though.

    I saw that one - If I recall correctly they were one of the bands who were 'sharing' the snare sound. Were they on after a 'Matchbox 20' style US band ?

    Another thing I've noticed is how cramped everything feels visually in what is a very large and high ceilinged room.
