any tips for excursions on a carribean cruise stopping in the western caribbean?

    Hi there, We are going on a seven night Caribbean cruise on the Royal Caribbean ship 'liberty of the seas'. It leaves from Miami, Florida then stops in Costa Maya, Mexico; Belize City, Belize; Cozumel, Mexico; George Town, Grand Cayman and then back to Miami, Florida. Has any one done this or been in any of these places independently? I am looking for tips on what to see/which excursions to go on in each of these places as really want to make the most of the short time we will have in each place. There are loads of organised excursions in each location but would really value the advice of boardies who have been there done that! Thanks in advance for any replies:)

    Did western caribbean in October but the only ones that were on our itinerary similar were Cozumel and Grand Cayman. The excursions organised by the cruise line are quite expensive but in Cozumel, visit the Mayan Temple while in Grand Cayman Stingray City is super! You wade around in shallow water while stingrays swim around your feet! Amazing!

    One thing though at all the stops - they will push shopping on you! Especially for diamonds so if that is what you are into, there are some good bargains to be had!
