Goose Down BT's - bargain or not?

Today I picked up a KING size goose down duvet in Brown Thomas for what I thought was a good price - €160 reduced from €205. Having informed my mother she said I was ripped off and could pick one up much cheaper elsewhere.
Has anyone come across them cheaper elsewhere recently or got any suggestions? Not going to open this new one for a few days just in case...

Seems they can be gotten cheaper......you still have it in the pack and with a receipt?

OMG thats about 70% cheaper than BT's! Yep still have it in the box with receipt. Gonna return it tmrw and buy one of these. Thanks a mill!

Me neither really but by all accounts they're saying it's the same tog etc as the one I bought except without the rip off price tag it would seem!

I think Debenhams currently have one reduced to E70 or thereabouts.

I currently have a goose duvet from Debenhams on the bed, and I can definitely testify as to it's cosiness

aldi or lidl are doing them for 35 or 40 in the special section.

Clerys home also are a good bet for good duvets or bed clothes, only in their sales though, they can be a bit pricey as well, but they have a sale on at the moment so may be worth trying.

Penneys even do down duvets, I know my kingsize one is from penneys, have it a year and it's grand.
