I have a WD Passport external drive. I was running Vista and I backed up all my stuff onto it, and then did a clean 7 install. However, I cannot get the drive to work on 7. I plug it in, I hear the Bing-Bong noise, but it does not appear in My Computer.

Tried all usb port and it is plugged into the mains. What can I do now?

may be using the same drive letter as an existing drive, you have to change in drive management
