    Hey,

I am sure this is something quite simple. I am trying to install windows xp sp2 onto my macbook (unibody). I am having to use a downloaded version as I can't find my disk but will have the serial code for it once required. I have partitioned the drive with bootcamp and have installed the first part i.e. the blue screen and selecting the partition etc but then when the system reboots, it simply runs os x as normal and nothing occurs afterwards.

    Can anyone offer any insight?

    Cheers

try holding the alt/option key at startup, it should bring up the boot up menu, asking you which os to boot to or disc

ok just one more question, I have installed windows fine but as I can't find my installation disc I am having trouble re-installing drivers. I have installed the video card driver but can't find the driver for the audio.

I have a friend who has a snow leopard cd and was wondering if the drivers from that would be the same? Or on the chance that I can't get that cd, would upgrading leopard to snow leopard give me the drivers and in this case is there any shop that people are aware of that are stocking snow leopard at the moment.

I have a macbook unibody, it was one of the first ones so its just a macbook not a macbook pro, seems to be unavailable now.

Sorry for all the questions if it seems a bit all over the place,

    any help would be appreciated.

I very much doubt upgrading to Snow leopard would make any difference. I would check on apple's support forum but I would've thought the drivers that came with your original pc were for that hardware specifically and wouldn't work in Bootcamp anyhow.
