Anyone have experience playing on all three sites? What do you reckon are the differences between the sites for NL cash games? How do they compare for 6max NL games for

    1) .25/.50 & .50/1
    2) 1/2 & 2/4

Would be interested to hear about this too.

I would be surprised if iP weren't tougher than FTP/PS these days, at micro & small stakes anyway.

They're all as bad as each other and the 3 worst sites going imo.

    Why do you say that?

Because FTP and Stars are overrun with American 2p2ers at stakes down to 10nl. I played a bit of 10nl recently and there were 5 regs at some of the tables (at 10nl!!!). iPoker also has tons of regs and is infested with rakeback grinder nits. Also, all three have tons of shortstackers.
The mid-sized euro rooms have much better games on average, because regs cant see the wood for the trees and would rather win at 1ptbb/100 with 2ptbb rakeback than win at 3ptbb/100 with 1ptbb rakeback.

I think its worth looking at Ultimate Bet/Absolute Poker, UB have rebranded themselves and I've heard from a few players that the games are quite soft with largish player pools at SSNL and MSNL. They have introduced cash tables with the 72 game and other unique stuff which has brought in some more fish. I might try it out soon.

As Zuutroy said, the small -medium sites are the place to go. Ideally, you should have your roll spread out across 3-4 sites and table select the best possible games. Of course most people don't do it. Including myself, but i think people dont exercise table selection enough in general.

From my own experience, FT was the toughest out of the three sites. I suppose stars was 2nd toughest, but I really enjoyed the software and I generally didn't tilt off buyins like I did on ipoker.

I was considering UB/Absolute there a couple of months ago... The games are supposed to be much softer, but pretty much all of the tables are jackpot!!! I read a thread about it on 2p2 and the figures posted were ridiculous, it absolutely KILLS winrates at 200nl and below - and probably close to impossible to win at the micros there

Don't they offer decent rakeback and bonuses which would compensate ?

Anyone playing party, What are the games like ? Had a go on the software and it seems great.

Their rb doesn't come close to compensating, they rake every pot as normal AND take another .50cent for the jackpot... Ill have a look for the figures

yea, this is true, but you can get decent rakeback and the presence of Jackpot tables is a massive pull for fish too. I assume its a trade off instead of tougher games.
Opr, New Party Software is sweet now, but I haven't played the games.

Hey PLarkin, can you pm the details also please?

I cant seem to find the thread that had all the numbers I was looking for... but UB/ABS take .50cent on every pot which rakes .25 and over - Thats just insane for small stakes / micros

I've enquired about the details with the people who I've RB registered with so will PM you when they get back to me.

And the jackpot tables absolutely kill a low limit players winrate.

edit: what a load of ****e, all they offer is a rakechase. sorry

and opr, they dont offer anything with empire - ghey
