These days off haven't been great because all the family are at home, and all my mates are stuck at home with their family. So not much fun, wasted lazy days

Wagging school, on the other hand, is great. My laptop connects to the TV ;)

Im on a 3 day week so im used to having time off. Gets very boring after a while. But Christmas holidays to me is a time to relax and do feck all so thats what im doing now!(plus i've an awful dose of the flu so not exactly in the most energetic of form)

Awh I'd love some snow for the next week and a half while I'm still off.:D
Then I'll be off to Lanzarote 3 days after I'm back to school to balance out the snow with some sunshine.

I normally try to get stuff done on days off, but this Christmas I've been a lazy-arse... and no regrets.

    Wasted 'em mostly.

But then again I work and train seven days a week so the rest will have done me good, I hope.

Should probably do something with the few days off, but enjoying doing nothing too much atm.

I am disappointed in myself tbh. I should have something better or more worthwhile done when I have free time.

Like, if you multiply your age in years by 365, you'll see how many days you have used up...and then estimate how long more you think you'll live...time is short.

Absolutely. I am using these few days of doing SFA as an opportunity to rest my hard-worked body. Thanks M!

    I kinda wasted them

It's hard to be fully happy in your days i guess, half of why christmas is great is the child viewpoint and sh't son i'm 25! it was nice seeing the nephew enjoy it though. I just watched garage so jesus not a good time to answer the question.

This year I have been very happy. Without wanting to sound smug I think it has been down to my first alcohol free Christmas since I was 16. Have spent quality time with the family, got some much needed work done around he house and took time of training and feel very rested and relaxed. Had a good laugh on boards too :D

Probably one of the highlights of my Christmas was watching three back to back episodes of Bob the builder with my three year old nephew and introducinghim to my budgies.

Garage :eek: I was on a transatlantic flight and it was the only film on and I still could not bring myself to watch it.

Went out and got really drunk every night, bar Christmas. Back to work tomorrow. And back to college in February. But yeah, going out was class! I usually don't go out much at home because I work at 6 in the morning. Went a bit too mad, but meh.

I've been off work with a broken leg for the last 4 months.

People keep asking me am I not bored yet. Not in the slightest. I'm actually getting a chance to use all the nice things I've bought.

I really don't get people who 'need to work'. Sure, everyone needs to keep busy. I like my job. However, given the choice, I'd much rather keep busy with hobbies and activities I enjoy.

There's something wrong with people who can't entertain themselves while not at work. 'I've been off too long, need to get back to work. Going mad'.

    You must have no interests/personality.

    Well that's pointlessly ****1ng depressing!

I enjoy doing essentially nothing, play guitar, drink beer with the lads, abuse my self. Don't really need much else to be honest!

Only had two days off during the Chirstmas period and I was happy enough with how I spent them. Playing a few games online, reading etc Just not being in work is a delight for me either way, I couldn't care less how I spend it !

no I had a **** time. Didn't finish work till 8 Christmas morning. Then I had to feed the reindeers, wash my red suit as it was covered in soot, trim my beard and systmatically pick out all the biscuit crumbs. Then I was just about to get into bed when the wife starts nagging me about leaving my big black boots in the hall. Then i had to get up St Stephens day and open the workshop to start making toys for next year.

    I hate Christmas :(

I loved my time off nd the week went waaay too fast.
Spent my days wandering around town with the bf drinking hot chocolate, going on epic long walks to the rds (should take 20mins.. took 3 hours via everywhere but rds) ice skating, went out for dinner with friends/family, stayed in for dinner with friends/family, a few too many drinking sessions, a day where i did nothing but play wii without moving, movie nights... twas all pretty deadly to be honest!
Now a lil interval of working days til New Years (3 days off WOOP) and then back to the crazy constant work/college buzz.

Am on the couch with flu, so I'm not making the best of my time off....:(

My favourite time of the year is the week between Christmas and New Years. It's the only time you're off work that you don't feel guilty for doing absolutely nothing. For Christmas, I got a Snuggie, fleecey pyjamas, new slippers and fluffy socks, plus sh*t loads of DVDs....there's no need for me to leave the house. Yesterday I was hungover and spent the entire day watching every single episode of Gavin & Stacey. Bliss!

Tomorrow being the first day off in a week (minus Christmas Day) I plan on sleeping in till about 1, have a lovely sausage and rasher baguette (home-made), play a few hours of poker, clean my room a tad, have a few cans and head to bed.:D Wednesday will be a more productive day off.:D
