Hey all, just wondering if anyone here can tell me what cables and accessories I'll need with my drum mics. I just play bass, snare, tom and floor tom. I'm lost at what cables etc I'll need. I'll be using them to record.

For example, do I need this?:

    Any help, cheers

thats a bit over kill unless you use loads of mics .

id go with one xlr male ( studio end ) to xlr female ( mic end ) cable per mic
male means it has 3 pins inside the plug , female means it has tree tiny sockets inside
5 meters usually long enough for each one .

you alos need mic stands and mic holders if the mics dont have any with them.

    hey man,

so you'll need each respective mic for the drums and overheads for the cymbals etc. A drum mic kit would be the simplest option there. http://www.thomann.de/gb/audio_technica_mbdk7.htm

You'll also need the mic stands or clips. Mic clips are the simplest but can sometimes be limiting and interfering(included in the set above). Stands add more clutter to the kit.

You'll need a xlr cable(as above) for each mic. If the drums are far away from the studio interface, you'd need the stage box you have linked to. This is OTT tho really!

    Are you recording this yourself??
