    Hi There

In your first post you said you were looking around to pick up some weights and were looking at an online store in the UK. I advised Irish Lifting as they sell good quality weights at good prices and when you take shipping costs from the UK into consideration, it might work out cheaper for you.

I know Irish Lifting also sell boxing equipment, but boxing is not really my thing, so I am not sure whether they have a larger selection of boxing stuff available. However the guy that owns Irish Lifting posts on here. His forum name is Mickk. So you could send him a PM or mail him at admin@irishlifting.com.

Be aware though that I think he may be out of the country for Christmas and New Year. So if you don't get a response straight away, don't worry. You could try looking up the number for Fighting Fit in Camden St, as this is owned by the same person and he also sells some of his stuff through this outlet. They may know if Mickk has what you are looking for or be able to point you in the right direction.

There is also a Martial Arts shop at the top of Mary St and Sports world out in Terenure. Sports World is owned by Mick Dowling who was a boxer I believe and who is sometimes on the panel when RTE show Boxing. Either of these places may also be able to help you. I know that Sports world have heavy bags in the shop from time to time.

Finally there are a number of folks on here who are into different martial arts who may be able to help you more that I.

    Best Regards & Seasons Greetings,

    M

Yep, unless there is a big difference in price. Then it is better for you to avail of the best value available :)

Have fun putting your gym together.
