    hi,
was trawling through these threads ...was wondering if anyone could answer a very simple question for me?
I live in a rather large house. I have a sky HD box downstairs in the sitting room. I want to be able to have another telly on upstairs in the bedroom. I cant have a multi room as i dont have a telephone line into the house. So i heard of these magic eyes...
Does a cable need to go from the HD box or 1st telly to the 2nd telly? i dont want to do that as its more than 25m from one to the other...
    is there another way?

    thanks for your help

Yes, a cable from the HD Box up to the second TV and then a magic eye on the second TV, or by using one of these Wireless Video Sender.

my tv in the main room is over 30 m away from my second tv, ( as i had to run it outside.)
I think the cabled option is better as video senders are vulnerable to wireless interference.

oh another option is to run the hdmi into a splitter, then to a balun (Like this) then run a cat5e up to your second tv into second balun to tv in hdmi .
a bit more expensive but will give you hd viewing on the second tv.:D
