    Hi

We have decided to move into the modern world and finally buy a flatscreen TV, but....what make ? There is just such a range of makes and types we are a little stuck as where to start.

Does anyone have any recommendations for make and type ?

    Have a look at http://www.avforums.com/forums/lcd-led-lcd-televisions/
i have a Sony and the only thing i would want changed is the refresh rate, the better the refresh rate the better movement looks, Gary.

The only advice to give you is Avoid Samsung. We had one of the American Fridge Freezers and a 42 inch plasma. Maybe I am just jinxed but both broke within a year. We now have a Hitachi and have had no problems over the last 2.5 years. Touch Wood:eek:

Try and get an LCD that supports MPEG4 TV as this is the format that the new digital terrestial signal will be broadcast in...
