Netbooks in China

    Hi guys,

Im going to China soon, to begin a 3+ month trip of Asia and I dont really want to bring my laptop as its a bit bulky. I was thinking of buying a netbook here but I dont particularly want to splash out 300 euro.
Would anyone have any idea of how much I'd be looking to pay if I were to buy a modest enough netbook in China?
I know that there are loads of internet cafe's everywhere but Id just really like to have instant internet access wherever I am so as I can keep up to date with the football (streaming the Gooners matches etc), new lost season and I suppose (:D) to stay in touch with family and friends.
Also, I need to get a large memory card for my camera but would I be correct in saying id pay lot less there than I would over here?

Mods , if im posting this in the wrong forum, feel free to move it.

    Thanks a mil

There is a dell netbook for €200 being sold in currys at the moment and another word of advice, dont rely on one memory card. Get a few 2gb ones instead, you can pick up good quality ones for about €10 online. If you rely on just one card and it stops responding....

Also dont rely on free wifi being readily available .... WEP is plentiful however, so get yourself a USB bootable copy of backtrack and eh ... do some penetration testing ;)

I bought a Samsung NC10 for my travel purposes although it cost me just over 300. Really happy I brought it as I can browse without it costing me anything. Haven't really seen any hostels that don't have free wifi.

A word on the streaming, I'm in Beijing now and alot of sites are restricted (FaceBook, YouTube, etc) so you probably won't be able to stream very well.
