What's the best way you've found to get the date when tickets go on sale for gigs?

I've noticed Phantom give out gig info when the concerts are already sold out, so I've found them unreliable. Are there any other sites or mailing lists that are really good for getting the dates for when tickets go on sale?

Dislike them as much as you like but ticketmaster are probably the best. Although i did miss hearing about a gig in december for the first time and i am still gutted about it.

Plus for gigs at the o2,you can get tickets usually two days before they go on general sale if you are on o2,or just have on o2 sim lying around, you can sign up for priority ticket codes. Works for me :)

Thanks for those, I'll give them a try! I did sign up for the O2 one, even though I ticked all the boxes of particular interest to me, I kept getting texts for gigs like Pink and other stuff I had no interest in!
