Datsun 120A Coupe (E10)

    Anyone ever have one of these,or know of any around this country,either driving or scrapped,according to the DVLA theres just the one on the road in england.
    Maybe not the best looking car ever,but still,its eyecatching.

    No,they are not original,i think that reg is german,though the rear window sticker strangely isnt!

    They were a victom of the dreaded tin worm, rust killed them off just like it did with the Cherry. My mother had one and the back of it just colapsed one day.

    Yes..rust was the killer on these,i doubt theres a single one of those coupes left on the road in this country.

    I know a guy up the north who has one of those in silver...has has 6 or 7 datsuns in his collection including a 240 z and 260z

    We had one of these in the late 80's, It was already an old car when we had it. Ours was a 77' Datsun cherry 120A F-II model, it was the facelift version of what you have pictured here and it rusted and rusted until it had to be taken of the road. We replaced it with a golf gti in 88'. Those datsuns looked really nice in yellow with rally lights on the front... Saw one last about 17years ago going for it in some back road with the rally lights on.
