    Hey,
Thinking about porting from 02 to either Meteor or 3, just wondering if I have to supply the new company passport, bills etc? I presume this will actually necessitate physically calling into one of their stores?

    Cheers.

If you're a contract customer, or seeking to become one, yes

You need your most recent o2 bill and a passport, or if you have paperless billing a printout of your o2 bill, passport and bring a bill/statement

    hope this helps

For 3 you can't use a printout. You can use a bank statement, credit card statement, utility bill, etc..and your O2 account number.

You have to provide proof of ownership of your existing number. So you need a bill, or bill print out.

Incorrect, your application will match the information your current network has, all you need is proof of ID (passport, drivers licence etc...) and proof of address and you current mobile account number. If the information given to your new network does not match the information your current network has then the port will fail. The porting team on your new network will have no visability on if you bring in a mobile bill or not so it's not necessary. Your new network should get you to sign a form which will be your authorisation to move your number.
