Humax PVR Query

    Last night whilst recording Scarface on ITV3+1 , I noticed that a lot of other channels had dissappeared from the list eg; ITV1 ITV2 E4 BBC HD etc. I have the two LNB leads connected now but I should mention that the 2nd LNB lead has been only connected since yesterday afternoon. For the first few weeks of owning the humax I only had the one lead connected.
    Surely this isn't the norm? Do I need to reset something since connecting up the other LNB?
    Thanks for any info.
    BTW the channel list returned to normal after it was finished recording.

    I think there is a setting on the box to enable the second one.

    Someone else who has one will be able to confirm.

    It's not picking up the 2nd LNB, you need to do a full system reset!
    You will lose your recording list but not any programs you have recorded.

    Yeah thanks, I know what your saying but if I press Menu then System then Diagnostics I get a screen which shows tuner 1 and tuner 2 and also two very healthy signal bars which leads me to believe both LNB's are being picked up. I'm probably wrong??

    I had the same problem, it even showed both tuners working fine in the system menu. But I had to do a Factory Reset to sort it. Try it, it only takes a few mins. :)
