    What did they end up?

I think Marion went on to become a producer and David (?) an actor and voiceover artist.

What about Frank, the blond guy and all the others.....

Maybe that door was more kinds of magic than we thought...

That seemed funny in my head... Honestly.

Anyone know who did the voice of Bosco?? It's never that woman in Corronation Street, is it?? You know the one, granny to baby Liam, comes over from Ireland all the time to interfere... she sounds just like Bosco!

I remember something about that alright. He is definitely dead but can't be sure of the cause. I have a suspicion that your right however.

Marion, Philip, Frank and Jonathan are the only names I can recall there was a few more though. One woman who's face I can remember but name escapes. Gertie or am I mad!!?

    Grainne...

From the back of the DVD:

"The songs, the magic door, make and do, tongue twisters and more are packed into this DVD milestone.

The gang of grown-ups are all here with Bosco – Frank, Mary, Philip, Marian, David, Susie, Grainne and Jonathon. Who’s your favourite?"

its really boring on christmas eve, isn't it?....

Was Frank in Bull Island at one stage? Didn't realise he was dead!
I think Grainne was the one who couldn't sing a note to save her life, absolutely tone deaf.
Then there was the Dub who always used to wear dungarees, I think he was a teacher in real life. Always remember his dungarees cos he kept having to snap them back into place, tops kept opening
Jonathan does most of the voice overs you hear on radio, he's got a really deep, rich voice. I always remember him looking like a reject from a seventies cop show with his beige-flares-waistcoat and slight handlebar moustache combo

It was Philip, the blonde fella, who died :(

Gift Grub on Today fm did a sketch with Bertie and Bosco a couple of years back. Very funny. Brought back a lot of memories!
Ya Grainne was the one who couldn't sing to save her life. remember the dungarees but cant remember who wore them.

That aids rumour was about Philip, not Frank. And it wasn't true, just something people associated with homesexuality in the 80s! He died of a brain haemorrhage i think

nah it would have been way before his time. He started off on The Grip or something didn't he? Bosco started a good 15-20 years before that

No Phillip just looked a bit like Ryle Nugent.

As for Frank Twomey, he's alive last I heard. Saw him one night in a club/pub in town. We dared my friend to go up and say to him 'Knock, knock, open wide' etc, but she couldn't stop laughing so never did it. Don't think he'd appreciate it though.

Frank (Twomey) was on Dragons Den tonight with a theatre show, all 5 invested in it too.
He was in drag and it was still straighter than Bosco.

I was at a live Bosco show in Salthill, Galway sometime at the end of the 80's or possibly 1990. It was very loud.

    Here ends my confession.
