    Hi,

I have a very strange issue on my 5yr old Pace Sky+ box.

Today for some strange reason the sound is not working yet it works while playing back recordings.

Normal live channels have no sound working and its magic eyed to 4 other tvs and its not working on any of those either.

Has anyone come across this problem before and if so can it be resolved or am i now stuck with nosound on tv for Christmas? :(

The sound has "gone" my my Thomson three times, each time I unplugged and rebooted, it came back.

If it's working on playing back recordings and not on live then it might be the scart lead. Try changing it and see what happens.

How can it be the scart lead if there is sound on recordings?

Glad you're sorted. If it happens again, drain out about half a pint of oil and put it in neutral and rev the living daylights out of it, then drive it as hard as you can for the next ten miles or so

    :p
