bmi to high have to do fitness test

    my bmi was to high i about 5'10 and weight 15 and half stone i abit fat but i do weight training 4 days aweek and a pretty fit. any one in the same boat

    Not 100% sure but I think the fitness test you'll be doing is the same physical test that is / was shown on the web site. Basically you have to complete 3 laps of a circuit which contains steps, a vault(as in jump over a wall!), drag a bag and do a short balance beam. Three laps must be done in under 3min 45 (ish). You'll then do a push pull test which measures your upper body power thingy ma bob. With your hight and weight and if you train a bit, the push pull will be a breeze. The circuit can get people but again if you're already reasonibly fit it's more than do-able especially if you work on a series of really short sprints and try to improve your recovery time in between.

    I think this is the video of the test used. Don't worry about your BMI 60% of professional Rugby players have a BMI that is rated as unhealthily high.

    Dean - do you have to do a fitness test as a result of the medical - or did you pass your medical? Im in same boat bmi wise and a bit worried.

    well i was told that i have to do a fitness test but have not hear anymore. did you watch the video? i did and i could do that no prob. let me know.
