TDS470NB SKY+ Fuse blown

    Hi, sister-in-law has a TDS470N. Looks like either the bridge rectifier or the switching transistor Q2502 are at fault. Rang installers and they want 400e for replacement. She has three young kids and no husband (did a runner).
    Anyone know if there are stock faults associated with the power supply?

    Thanks Tony, been there. Once had an account with Martin but that was many years ago. I've not worked in the trade for almost 15 years now. Also tried to see if Doonberg had a kit to no avail. Perhaps the unit is too new for stock faults to be reported or built-up.

    Yeah its fairly new alright. The only other guy I can think of is Gordon Mc Crea at kesh electrics in Enniskillen.
