    Hi guys,

Im looking for a pair of Vintage 30's that come from the rectifier cabs. Now i have been told that they are different from the normal Vintage 30 Celestions. (I dunno how true that is?)

Do anyone stock these in Europe?

Watfordvalves.com do most if not all of the Celestion range.

I'm not informed on Mesa speaker cabs... but if the V30 in a Mesa cab was different (beyond the sticker on the back of it) then it wouldn't be a V30, surely?

Stock V30s are made in China, whereas Mesa V30s are still made (assembled?) in the UK.

Primarily the difference is just the way they are put together (old slow-drying glue etc) and testing/quality control. Maybe some small spec differences. Materials are mostly identical. All their frames are made in China anyway nowadays.

I know you can buy them directly from Mesa in the US. Im not aware of anywhere in Europe that sells them, maybe keep an eye on ebay. Personally I would just buy a stock V30 (assuming you have decided 100% thats the type of speaker you want).
