    A Chairde,

    Runners required!

Rith 2010 is a brand new cultural festival that is coming to Ireland, as one of the main events of Seachtain na Gaeilge. On March 10th 2010, the first steps of a 1600km non-stop relay-race fun-run around Ireland will be taken in Belfast as the baton is passed to the first runner. From there, the baton will be carried around Ireland through 400 towns/villages across 18 counties. 7 days later, we finish in Galway City as part of the St. Patrick's Day Parade on March 17th.

Rith, Run, craic & spraoi! - Be part of it!
    1. Runners can register on www.rith.ie "Rith Linn / Run with Us". We especially need runners to run between towns and during the night. Support vehicles and an ambulance will escort the run at all times.
    2. If you want to be an official baton carrier and lead the run, you need to buy the kilometre that you want. We are hoping to raise money to support the Irish language in this way. Details on prices and availability are on www.rith.ie
