Linksys WRTP54G setup

    hey gang

    how are things


    i use voipcheap, and i am looking to hook up my voipcheap account to my Linksys WRTP54G - and hence to a regular phone.

    i have the installation disc, and have gone throught the setup wizard to completion, but it only covers, the wireless internet setup, so i need to access the config page for the voip/sip element of the router, and that is all i want from te router in all honesty, because I already have wireless router, (eircom)

    I have found setup guides online for the Linksys WRTP54G, which has instructed me to get the ip address of the Linksys WRTP54G, but the address i found, doesnt seem to allow me to access the config page of the Linksys WRTP54G.

    any ideas of what i can do?

    Did you try connecting the Linksys directly to the PC and try browsing to 192.168.1.1 or whatever I.P. they give you in the docs. ?

    Blueface has a config guide for the WRT54. That should help you out, it's quite clear.

    thanks for the help lads, i got into the admin login n everything, but i aint got nothing happening on my phone yet.

    Is there any other configuring to be done?

    i have just configured it all there now, and there is still no dial tone, i have reconnected the router up to the correct ports, so it should be working fine.
