    Hi

Any other lady beginners out there looking for a game? I have the gear, had lessons, played par 3 and "real" courses maybe 15 times. Not great but very keen to practice over winter months and get into half decent playing shape for the summer.

Best times Mon or Sat mornings.

Send me a private message if interested

I guess you want to practice with other beginners so that you are not so embarrassed with bad shots and slow play but you will progress much faster if you play with better players.

You're right but they can be hard to find so a partner in crime would be handy!

Have you checked the ILGU website? They had a "Women in golf" initiative where they ran free lessons for lady beginners who were not already members of a club. My mother tried it last year, got around 10 group lessons from a local club pro, I don't know if it's being run again this year but their website should tell you. Even if you don't need the lessons it would be a good way to meet up with other beginners.

If it's convenient, Leopardstown has some very active Ladies societies. Might be worth a call. http://golf.leopardstown.com/Content/LeopGolf/LeopGolfGolf.aspx?id=9216
