Ive got chorus digital, and for some reason i'm able to get UTV as an analogue channel on the UHF frequency.

Not that i'm complaining mind comes in handy if i want to record something on it and watch another channel, so just wondering could i be able to get the bbc channels as well??

The old analogue channels are still there - about 20 of them and they're not on UHF, they're VHF. I watch them in the bedroom as I only have one digital box and that's downstairs connected to the main telly. Note however that the picture quality is not great on the analogue channels, they're definitely getting worse almost by the day. I know they're on VHF because a friend of mine was setting up a telly and he couldn't find the analogue channels because he had the country set to 'UK', when he changed it to Ireland and did another scan he found them.

Bit of a sweeping statement there. Fine in Waterford.:)
