Hey guys,i got a filling around 4 years ago on the top right molar(i think its a molar),but anyway, last week i was eating when i felt serious pain on the top right side of my mouth..it was pretty sore so i went to the dentist to get it checked out. The dentist could see absolutly nothing wrong with the tooth i'm complaining about..so he seen that a tooth on the same side of the molar needed a filling, and thought that may relieve the pain.It didnt...the pain comes and goes, and when it does get sore i just put cold water on the tooth and it goes fine again,so i decided to go back to the dentist today to get it checked once again. He did an x-ray from a differant angle, checked if the filling was loose..checked absolutly everything and could see nothing wrong with the tooth. He offered to change the filling to see if that helps but i didnt really want to change what he thought was a filling that looked fine.. i duno what to do,maybe its just a very sensitive tooth? and btw he said the nerve seemed fine aswel..i refused to get the filling changed but maybe i should?
