Apple iPod Nano issue

My sis got a new iPod nano in the US recently, but it just isn't charging.

I presume these things have a world-wide guarantee?
How would I go about getting it fixed for her?
The Apple website doesn't make it easy - is there any store in Ireland I can call to?

    Help sincerely appreciated.
    Thanks

    You have world wide gurantee

Call 1800 92 38 98, you'll get Holyhill during business hours and you'll get the states (I believe Texas) outside this.

    They'll sort ya.
Last time I had an issue the courier will bring a replacement and your product will go to Apple for testing.
