    Just wondering will anybody else be working this xmas? If so what do will you be doing and where?

    I'm working on a ship in the Atlantic at the moment and feeling sorry for myself and wondering does anybody else work over xmas??

    I worked Christmas Eve 8pm til 8am Christmas Day last year,happy I'm not doing it this year tho!

    Yep, I'm working too. 7am - 7pm so the dinner will be microwaved this year.

    Can't complain - I offered to so someone with kids could have it off so thats my good deed done!

    I'm a nurse so hopefully I'll be delivering a nice wee Christmas baby for someone!

    Was supposed to be working, generally do, but one of the girls offered to do Christmas to get a few days off after it, so I got it off. First time in many, many years.

    Used to work in a pub from 12 midnight on Christmas day, when it becomes St Stephens day, busiest night of the year in that place. Tradition.

    Then hotels, always ended up working. One year in an Advertising Sales office, I was on call. Then back in hotels.

    yep im in christmas day from 8 to 12 so not too bad really. in vancouver airport. on my own.

    i too feel homesick this month, but mainly for my family and friends...reading through the rte news section soon eases the feeling of wanting to be in ireland.
