Saving a File - Don't Have Permission to Save in this Location

I am downloading a file and instead of hitting run I am hitting save and want to save on the C drive under Program Files folder.

It is on my laptop and I have Vista.

The message I get when I try to save in this location is:

    C:\Program Files\Name Of Program.exe
You don't have permission to save in this location.
Contact the administrator to obtain permission.

Would you like to save in the My Name folder instead?

As it is my laptop and set up by me, how do I obtain administrator permission to save where I want to?

    Thanks
