Not a fan of Treks but it looks better than the Cube ...
I'd say the Trek has marginally better spec as well.

I have the 4.7. Nice bike. Always gets good reviews. No idea about the Cube You should probably include a link + price so others can compare specs.

I think I'd go for the Trek. I had a carbon Trek before and it was the most comfortable bike I've ever owned. I think the Cube is new Ultegra (very nice groupset, I have it on a Planet X) while the Trek is SRAM Rival. So you might want to know that you would get on OK with the hood shape and double-tap shifting. Personally I found it very intuitive and 100% fine at the back but maybe not ideal for the front. I'm sure I would have got used to it mind.

Definitely go for the trek.I currently have a madone.I cannot fault it in any way.As far as i know the 4.7 comes with an ultegra groupset.

Both nice bikes but they should be for the money. If they were both free I would choose the Cube-For the Ultegra group. Like Blorg-I didn't get on with SRAM in the limited time I spent with it.
If I were newish to cycling -and actually spending that much money- I'd buy a planetx pro carbon with light cranks a super sexy set of spare wheels and still have some money left over for gear. Just my tuppence worth.
I am not new to cycling and am planning to build a Cervelo for similar money to those two.I think this is possible with a bit of time and bargain hunting-maybe not for everyone though.

    Fair play to u!!
Actually, I think the Madone 4.7 comes with Ultegra Groupset, just refers to SRAM Rival on Trekbikes website!
