Some of you will open this thread thinking wtf , others have probably guessed exactly what this is going to be about.

Well it's about non other than the fantastic Japanese fighter Hozumi Hasagawa, the man considered the #1 Bantamweight in the World. http://boxrec.com/list_bouts.php?human_id=105935&cat=boxer

A slick, technically sound southpaw, with very quick hands, Hasagawa emerged onto the scene when he wrestled the WBC title away from Thai great Veeraphol Sahaprom who was after making 15th consecutive defenses of his belt. Oddly this fight was shown on Sky and viewers from this side of the World got a rare chance to see this hidden gem.

Hasagawa went one better in the rematch and managed to stop the Thai fighter and from there he has went from strength to strength.
The only criticism being that Hasagawa had little power and with only 7 stoppages in 23 wins who blame anyone arguing that.
Since then Hasagawa has gone on the rampage, he's stopped all of his last 5 and the opponents have only lasted a combined 10 rounds between them.

He's now not only a fantastic fighter, but one with dynamite in his fists aswell. Here's a few clips of him in action:

The World's Bantamweights and Super-Bantamweights will be praying this man does not venture over from the east, because there's a very good chance he's the best of the lot.
