    Hi,

I downloaded SyncMate a few weeks ago but found it pretty annoying and was trying to delete it. Initially I just put it in trash but I kept getting reminders from it saying 'It's time to Sync' so I downloaded Appcleaner to completely remove it but STILL get these reminders. Any suggestions on how to stop these?

open activity manager and close all things associated with it.

then spotlight search for everything and then delete them.

    that should do it.

Try appdelete - always has worked for me.

If you still get the reminders, you may need to reinstall the program so you have an app file to delete, which will be linked to all of the other files.

Thanks for the tips. Activity Monitor may have done the trick, syncmate was running in the background. It still might pop up when I restart but then I'll just re-download it and uncheck 'Open when booted'. If not I'll try appdelete.

Go to System Preferences -> Accounts -> Login Items and uncheck it (or remove it) if you see it there.
