you could take the RF output from the Sky box downstairs to your attic, and use a Sky Digital compatible distribution amp to connect all bedrooms...then use a sky eye to view and control the sky box from the bedroom.

Not sure what you should do with the 2nd box, firstly you'd need to take a new feed from the dish or a 2nd dish.

Firstly you will need to decide what sky boxes you wish to send around the house. If its one or both you wish to send around then you will need a bit more equipment setup, but basically the setup will the same.

If you wish to send both boxes around then you will need the following.

Digital Distribution Amplifier with return path....for use of magic eyes.
Global Combiner Unit to combine both boxes. Model SPC4 recommended.
Magic eyes for use in whatever rooms you require.

You will need to bring the rte signal to one of the two boxes, and put it into the aerial input at the back. Now you need to run a cable from the socket marked RF2 at the back of each sky box to a central point for example your attic. You will need to set each boxes rf output by doing the following

    Press services.
    Press 4
    Press 0,1 select,
Select a freq and turn the rf power on.
    click save.

You place them into any of the four sockets of the Global combiner unit. nd then run a cable from its output to the distribution amp. Now run a cable from the amp to each required room and you will have Both the Skyplus, rte and std sky box.

You will need to set each boxes rf output by doing the following

    Press services.
    Press 4
    Press 0,1 select,
Select a freq and turn the rf power on.
    click save.

    Recomended equipment.

A good one would be the global range. Heres a few model no's
    F140 (4 way) F180 (8way), F280(16 way)

    Global Spc Combiner.

The 4 way will be powered by sky box so there great.Anything larger will require a power source.
