Upon starting up my computer this morning, I found it to be INCREDIBLY slow.. for a slow computer :/
I turned it on at 12pm sharp and only now at 13:14 is it responding at a normal speed.
Could this have been down to the fact that my house was so cold this morning?

I was prompted to do that, it told me 'a problem' caused it (I hate the way it never specifically says what problem..) , so I ran my antivirus progran but it just said there was no new updates.. end of? :S

you need to let your Antivirus program SCAN not just check for new updates :p
