    • Hotel waitress - one and a half nights :D
    • Wash-up in a restaurant - three months. Worst job ever!
    • Coffee shop waitress - six months fulltime, and a few more parttime
    • Coffee shop waitress in a different cafe - maybe about three months
    • Sales assistant in rich-old-lady clothes shop - about a year fulltime, and another year parttime
    • Dealing with council tenant complaints - three months. That one really toughened me up a lot!
    • Accounts payable assistant - five months
    • Currently working in audit - three months into a 3.5 year contract
So excluding babysitting for several different families, and two two-week placements in transition year, and a few "unofficial" bits of work here and there ... that's eight jobs. Oh and I'm 24.

    26 and 6ish jobs

Music video extra (twice)- doesn't really count, but hey it was paid work.

Flower bouquet assembler (2 weeks) - first proper job at 15.

Supermarket (3 months) - absolute hell.

Toy shop (3 days) - I quit to go on a date on a Saturday afternoon.

Music Shop (7 years) - best job ever and shockingly well paid.

Book shop (1 year) - sheer hell again and out of all of the above, possibly the thickest people I have ever worked with.

Book shop again (currently) - same company as before but different branch, awfully awful money but enjoyable enough.

Got to love the Arts degree that seems to be dooming me to retail....aargh.

    31 - 10 jobs

    1) office admin (was there for 2 summer hols)
    2) Telemarketing
    3) Data Entry (was able to return to that company any time I was between 'proper' jobs, which was dead handy) I worked in job#2 and #3 simultaneously for about 2 months.
    4) College internship job.
    5) teaching English in my Erasmus college, evening grinds/English editing.
    6) Tech Support call centre (first job out of uni - colleagues were generally nice, but I ****ing hated the job)
    7) Sales admin
    8) Project assistant
    9) Freelancer
    10) Project & quality management (current)

Don't think that's many - I've returned to two companies over the years, as they were handy numbers and I got on well with the managers.

I lived near a large city centre business park when I was in uni, so I figured I may as well get some proper office experience in there, instead of doing late hours in a shop/bar.

    21 years old, 5 jobs.

    1st:
    About 15/16 years of age:

Worked for a week during the summer selling window blinds in a ****ty little "LOCAL" shop which was most likely a front for some small time racquettering.
My main job was to be screamed at by irrate customers and endure a dip**** boss who constantly locked me out of the office whilst I was running errands.
Subsequently got let go when the woman I was filling in for (without my knowledge) returned from her holiday and locked me out of the office.
I got €165 for my trouble and I didn't bother going back.

    17-18 years of age:
Spent 6 weeks working in Marks & Spencers. First 3 months were tolerable working in the Lingerie section, but it was short lived. As it was around the time Cafe Revive was being set up, I was transfered over after they made up some bogus story about me harassing the customers. They cut my wages, harassed me to come in during scheduled days off, verbally abused me, screamed at me in front of customers and subjected me to many hours of being scalded on the hot food counter due to lack of training.
Nearly had a nervous breakdown in that place but before I could file my resignation, one of the supervisors made it her mission in life to make me cry at least once a day by being a downright vindictive, sadistic **** of a woman.

I wouldn't work for them again if you paid me a million euro!

    19 yrs old:
Worked for a week in "Eddie Rockets" but had to give it up I'd just started college and they kept trying to rearrange my shifts without prior warning.

    21 yrs old-Current Job:
Initially hired as a bar-maid/ member of floor staff in my local on a 3 shift-a-week basis. A month in, my hours get cut to accomidate for the 'summer temp' staff with the assumption that my hours would be reinstated in the authumn. Needless to say, I'm still waiting to get my full shifts back.

Worked mostly in the bar part earning around €40-60 a week in tips which were an absolute god-send until my hours got cut.

Currently now working a measily 4 hours a week on a Sunday for a piffling €36, doing nothing but polishing cutlery and watching my soul die a little more.
I'd ask for more shifts but apparently they're "stretched too thin" to afford it even though the owners/bosses regulrly holiday in Dubai... *seethe*

    Loads! 18 I think and I'm 26 years old.

Including; retail management, hotel work, factory work, veterinary nursing, chef, butcher, accountancy, call center, band manager, music journalist and now stand up comedy.

One may think that I'm a serial quitter...well I must be but my c.v. is great and easily adapted. I've stuck to most jobs for at least 6 months. Many of the jobs overlapped and I've been known to have 3 at a time. It's very confusing, I know

Not working now though :( stupid recession.
