I know there's an active thread on the front page but I didnt want to add to it as this is a little different.

I cancelled my sub with Setanta last July and even though I was a year with them I have to say I never had any problems. Anyhow a guy from Setanta phones me this evening and offers me a "first month free and then 3 months for €9.99/month". I can cancel anytime subject of course to 30 days notice being given.

He tells me that the company have now brought in new people and are actively trying to address the previous problems they had. Its still Setanta Ireland and they will have 33 Premiership games next season but the full monthly cost will be €16.99. This seems to be a new promotion and Im sure others will get the same phone call but just wanted to give a heads up to anyone who may be interested in the above offer.

That must have been them with the weird number that called me this morning. I still would have refused. As far as Premiership football is concerned they are Manchester United and Liverpool obsessed, even when they play poor opposition.
