It was. Unreal crowd. And cos Padraig was more than willing to accomodate everyone he was there from before 11am until about 6pm. I was there at 11 and got to him at 3.15. They sold everything. Golf clubs, shoes, bags, u name it, it went.

Fair dues to him, he was a pure gent. Hopefully mega bucks raised for GOAL.

i know didnt doesnt relate to this but people were saying how sound Padraig is an i totally but i saw it in the flesh in 2002, Irish open, he came out with a bag of golf balls to go onto the putting green and practice his chipping and putting but about 40 kids broke up through secruity and asked him for a golf ball , so he proceed to sign a ball and give each kid a ball but he had only enough for half so when his was finished his first batch he back to the clubhouse and got balls for the remainder of the kids and signed the golf balls for them and he checked and made sure everyone had a signed golf ball before going onto the putting green. Class act on and more importantly off the course
