Hope it's Stuttgart. I have a funny feeling it will be Milan with Becks coming back to Old Trafford.

I'd say at least 6 of the 8 group winners will go through. United, Chelsea and Barcelona will definitely go through.

Hoping Arsenal get a kind draw, if Robin can come back for the later stages Arsenal could be contenders again.

Come on now, we both know that the comback of RVP will be delayed and delayed until the most important match of the season - Burnley at home where ze 3 points are the most important thing even though we can only finish 3rd anyway. This will be after we have been knocked out of the CL to Barcelona through a controversial hand of Henry.

    Boo to this....

In any case, the last 16 will loom over us for quite a while whether we like it or not. This year, as Uefa strive to prolong the broadcasters' obsession with the Champions League, the ties will be contested over eight separate match dates between 16 February and 17 March. This element of the competition may not be engrossing, but the ruling body is determined to keep on bringing it to your attention.

    From uefa.com
The first knockout round first-leg ties will be played on 16/17 and 23/24 February with the second legs scheduled for 9/10 and 16/17 March.

    Sounds a bit overkill alright.

At least we'll get to see more games. Hopefully RTE will show a few of the non-English games too. Watching Dynamo Kiev v Barcelona was a nice change :)

As usual the actual draw is ass-suckingly drawn out.

Q&A and highlights clip of Butrageno = WTF

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,240 ✭✭✭Iron Hide

Oh yeah, forgot that.. No matter how seemingly poor they're group performances were, AC and Inter can still turn it on like....
