aldi 2 avocados 49c, lemons, limes, pears, garlic etc

    was in aldi in rathmines tonite and theres a load of fruit and veg half price. stocked up on it myself. 400g of strawberries for 1.50euro, a big pack of seedless mixed grapes was also 1.50

    even at full price the stuff was good value!
    theres too many items to list here

    Im not sure what kind of promotion it was as I didnt notice any signs but I asked a guy working there and he said its on for 3 days.

    a pack of 4 garlic bulbs are now around 25c, its good stuff too.

    A new lidl has opened up in Rathmines. Yesterday they were selling ALL fruit and veg at half price. It was a dream.

    I suspect that is why Aldi were reducing their prices, to draw their customers back to them.

    This is in all Aldi stores. Twas in the Ashbourne and Portumna ones too.

    Don't think some of what you mentioned was half price in Aldi in Mahon, but they did have poppies(thats cork for potatoes)lemons/lime pack, carrots, parsnips,brussle sprouts, clementines for 39c:) Nice to see a bit of a fruit and veg war going on at the moment, I remember the days when they were rarely on special offer

    not sure but it tastes good. the chinese use alot of garlic, i dont think chinese garlic is bad quality
