Hi, I'm a complete novice with a very basic requirement. I would like to install a home theatre system that will connect to my TV (Sony Bravia) & Humax Freesat box, I don't watch DVD's although I have a DVD player & I'm looking for advice on what system you would recommend that will enable me to watch TV with the bonus of having the sound transmitted through the speakers of the home theatre system. As I said, I don't watch DVD's & most systems seem to cater for the DVD watching market. Is what I'm looking for possible? I have a modest budget of around £300/€350.

    Thanks

    Katina,

The Onkyo HTS5205 Pack which is an Onkyo TXSR307 and a SKSHTS528 5.1 speaker pack in one box is probably the best deal ( even if it breaks the bank a little :o) at £339.95 / €369.99

Any of the regular Boardie here will tell you that ONkyo make decent kit - far better than the packaged one box jobs you will find from some of the major manufacturers!

We have that system in stock and ready to ship - Keep me posted if we can assist.
